The Simpson Curriculum Materials Center was dedicated in 1990 through the generous support of Howard M. and Kathryn Jacquin Simpson.  Its purpose isto provide education students and other interested persons with examples of textbooks, reference books, children's literature, and teaching materials used in elementary and secondary schools.  The collection consists of over 8,900 materials, such as textbooks on the following topics: health, language arts, mathematics, music, phonics, reading, science, social studies and family & consumer science.  The center also has a variety of children's literature, games, software, kits, manipulatives, and an Ellison lettering machine. The CMC includes a wide array of materials and services to enhance curriculum development and design.
